NEW SEATING CHART!
Today we will review the parts of speech and definitions for The Giver vocabulary, part 1. You will write sentences for 10 (out of 12) words. You may use the sentence frames, but you don't have to. Sentences must be at least six words in length. For example, "I felt serene" won't work. But "I felt serene while sitting at the top of the mountain" does.
Next, read the first nine paragraphs of The Giver.
What is the mood (feeling) of these first pages? How
