Today you will begin Part II of your research with your group.  First, click on the link to find out WHEN your Golden Age was.  You will search for the information you need using the essential question AND your city name AND the era name or year span.  For example, if you were searching for information about Hangzhou, you would search:
What were some of the important achievements during the Song Dynasty in Hangzhou?
What were some of the important innovations during the Song Dynasty in Hangzhou?
What were some of the important innovations during the era/dynasty in your city?
What were some of the important achievements during the __________ in __________?

Then, you will need to read about the innovations and achievements and make certain they occurred during the Golden Age you are writing about. Choose one innovation or achievement to write about and write about it in Part II of your Humanities Introduction page:

Introduction to Humanities 7: Golden Ages of the Medieval/ Early Modern World

Goal:  In groups, you will prepare and present an introduction to your city.  You will all work on geography (part I) and Golden Age big picture (part II), and then split the remainder of tasks (part III).  You will be responsible for making sure that all of your co-researchers are on task and accountable.

As you answer these questions, think about the CRAAP test and the websites that you use.  Make sure that you corroborate information that seems suspect, and cite the sources that you used to answer the question.  You should include the link (URL) in your answers, and when you make slides, you can transfer it to the notes box.   You need to include citations in the “Click to Add Notes” box under the slides.
