  1. Describe two scientific advances the early Incas discovered to adapt to their environment and have the ability to farm.
  2. Who was Pachacuti?  What important aspects of Inca culture did he establish?
  3. About how many miles did the Inca Empire stretch from north to south? How many people lived in the Inca Empire?
  4. Describe the process the Inca used to freeze-dry potatoes.
  5. What did the Incas do to the leaders of conquered areas? Why?
