I am out today. I expect a good report from the guest teacher. Anything that is not completed in class will be homework.
During fourth period, please read chapter 5 in Beowulf and answer the comprehension questions in the green workbook. If there is time, you will be finishing a left-side activity for chapter 4.
During fifth period, you will be working on Document B.
First, write these definitions between Document B and the questions:

liberation (noun)--freedom from something terrible

poverty (noun)--the situation of being poor

Read the document and the note twice. After you have read them twice, answer the four questions.  The first three questions should be answered in one complete sentence each. The last question should be answered in two complete sentences. When you are done, raise your hand so that the guest teacher can check your work.
